Children's Museum NASA event & Rotary eClub Charter Celebration

Monday, August 9, 2004 the Children's Museum held an "Out of This World" event! Visitors viewed interactive space exhibits with presentations by Congressman Sherry Boehlert, Chairman of the House Science Committee, and former Astronaut Mike McCulley, CEO of United Space Alliance. Kids of all ages got autographed pictures, NASA pins and interacted with the space exhibits. At noon, the Museum celebrated Rotary eClub NY1 Charter Party! The 9 Charter members were presented with their Charter and Rotary pins by D7150 PDG Andrea Ives & Dist Governor Jim Austin. Introduced by Boehlert, the keynote "Vision for Space Exploration" was delivered by McCulley. He presented an exhibit and donation to Museum Director/Cyber Club President Marlene Brown for a Mission Control Center for kids.
