The Children’s Museum is a 501c3 nonprofit institution. Admissions fees cover only about 30% of its annual expenses, so the Museum relies on the generosity of corporations, foundations, and its patrons for most of its funding each year. Rotary Galaxy Membership
The Galaxy Rotary Club will be chartered by Rotary eClub NY1 (whose 'earthly headquarters' is The Children's Museum). Its Members (parents & grandparents) will choose to attend meetings twice a month with their children either Tuesday or Friday at 11:00am or Saturday's at 11:00am or 1:00pm. Members will have access to the “Rotary Kids Room” at The Children’s Museum, to a Book and Coloring Book designed around Rotary's Four-Way Test, with information on Character Building, Honesty, Fairness, Ethics, Safety, and Friendship, as well as access to the museum's other floors and exhibits. We also plan on webcam cyber meetings with children & families in our Rotary sister Club in Tirupur India's 'Gurukulam Center'.
